Background

Olin Frederick, Inc. is a small publishing company with a large purpose. It was founded in 1999 by Gerald P. Balcar, Dr. Margaret A. Gwynne and Dr. Jack Gaasch to challenge the American political establishment to define the truths of issues, to face them and to create meaningful dialog and debate. Located in Dunkirk, New York, on the shore of Lake Erie, Olin Frederick, Inc. has combined the talents of a versatile and diverse staff to accomplish the goals of the company. This embodiment of knowledge, enthusiasm, and experience is focused on making the new company into a major force to shake the American polity and to nurture and reform American democracy.

Jack Cashill, as one our authors, has said this area of New York State saw the founding of three major national movements: The Grange; The WCTU and The Chautauqua Institution. Olin Frederick wil continue the tradition.
