Dr. Mueller received his B.S. with honors in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his M.D. from Ohio State University in 1982. He completed his internal medicine residency at Northwestern University in 1985 and now practices in upstate New York where he is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Dr. Mueller is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He has published clinical studies in The Southern Medical Journal and HMO Practice.  ABC Primetime has interviewed Dr. Mueller on the pharmaceutical industry's marketing practices. The author and his wife Diane, share a practice, and they have five children. He is a two time silver medallist in the AAU Wrestling Nationals and continues to coach wrestling. This is his first book.
